The conference, organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is sponsored by AICTE-VAANI (Vibrant Advocacy for Advancement and Nurturing of Indian Languages) and is set to run from August 21st to 22nd, 2024.The inaugural function was held on August 21, 2024, at 8:30 AM in the Purple Hall of Rajalakshmi Engineering College. The event began with an invocation, the welcome address was given by Dr. L. Bhagyalakshmi, Professor and Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Convenor of ICMDID-2024, warmly welcomed the attendees and participants from various parts of the world.

The conference overview was addressed by Dr. T. Manikandan, Professor and Co-coordinator of ICMDID-2024, provided an insightful overview of the conference, highlighting the importance of integrating medical technology with digital innovations. Dr. S.N. The conference valedictory address was addressed by Dr. J. Sheeba Rani, Professor, Department of Avionics, Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Government of India, Thiruvananthapuram who provided an insightful significance of the conference, highlighting the importance of integrating medical technology along with digital innovations in the field of space technology and avionics in terms of optimizing patient care, advancements in personalized medicines and remote monitoring. Dr. V.
